Overview
The Insectary is a controlled facility dedicated to the rearing, maintenance, and experimental handling of insects for research and teaching purposes. It provides regulated conditions of temperature, humidity, and light to ensure healthy insect cultures, particularly for mosquitoes and other medically important species.
Equipped with rearing cages, larval trays, feeding setups, and monitoring systems, the insectary supports bioassays, life-cycle studies, and both undergraduate and postgraduate research in entomology.
